The two power supply connectors previewed on the board: to overclock the 2900 XT they are both needed to be supplied.
It's however possible to use two 6 pins connectors, but in this case the “overdrive” function on the control panel is blocked, and the cards remains at default. This obliges to have a PSU of last generation if we want to take advantage of all the potentialities of the 2900.
On the edge and behind the card there is an aluminum panel that makes more rigid the card avoiding eventual bending and cools the memory chips behind the PCB.
Also in this case we appreciated the constructive quality, the panel is raised of a pair of mm from the pcb.
The central area: the blocking system of the cooler dedicated to the GPU is identical to the one already used for the 19xx series.
