Benchmark Windows XP

In the tests at air we used a reference frequency of 3600 MHz for the processor, and the vga at the default frequency declared by the builder, 743 for the core and 828 for the memories.
Whit these parameters, we made some comparisons on different platforms and different operative systems.
So we obtained some graphics to resume the general performances of this 2900 XT.

In 3dmark 2001, under XP, the 2900 overcomes of about 800 points the 8800GTS, revealing itself really fast.

As you can see in the graphics, the 2900XT is particularly fast in 3dmark 2005, where largely overcomes the result of the 8800GTX.
The comparison with the 8800GTS leaves no doubt: the card is surely a good product, but suffers a lot, according to ourselves, for the lack of mature and optimized drivers.
